The Davemobile in Utah. It all looks like this, seriously.
"Welcome to Nevada!" on US 50.
"Hwy 50: The Lonliest Road in America"
Driving across Nevada on US 50 was a truely unique experience. It is
far out to be in the middle of that much nothingness, and so far from
a gas station. I pulled into the little outpost of Austin, Nevada just
as the gas station was about to close for the night. A few minutes later,
and I would have been sleeping in the car. :)
I had to take a picture of this interesting milage marker.
Leaving Reno, going westward into more mountains.
California was a little out of focus that day.
Look at all that snow! See how high it goes on that interstate exit sign? Never mind that most of the picture is my windshield's tint screen.
This picture and the next are from a rest area overlooking the San
Francisco area.
Here's Netscape's headquarters, if you can see it through the
windshield and its reflections.
Wine country! A little blury and windshield-tinted.
A rest area off the side of US 101 on the Pacific coast.
Hollywood Boulevard, and a cool looking building in the background.
The "Ripley's Believe It or Not Odditorium"!
The tram at a Disneyland parking lot.
