Stuttgart, Germany

Stuttgart is the proud home of Daimler-Chrysler. My most memorable memory of Stuttgart is climbing up and down many hilly streets at around 7:00pm with a big bag of dirty laundry, looking for a laundrymat. Every laundrymat I came to was closed. I stopped at a pay phone to make a scheduled call to Danny in Regensburg, and he informed me that no laundrymat would be open at night, by federal law. Doh!

The hill the hostel is on does have a nice view of the city.
