Cologne was a very convenient place to hang out for a few days. The hostel was extremely nice, and it made a good place to take a day trip from.

After walking up the Rhine river a ways, I came across the Germans' ultra-modern grass-mowing system. |

A ton of buildings in Germany have these giant windshields. I haven't figured out what these are for, exactly, and the Germans I've asked don't know either. If anyone has any clues, let me know. |
