I stayed in Amsterdam for three nights. I was only planning on staying for two nights, but the loss of my wallet due to pickpocketing delayed my departure. My wallet was finally found and delivered to the train station's lost and found department, but not before I cancelled all my plastic. Oh well, traveling in a foreign land with limited amounts of monetary resources seemed challenging enough to keep things interesting.
Despite the bad experience with my wallet, it was very nice to visit Amsterdam. The city is very pretty, and the people are quite friendly.
